You Have the Points. Heaven Level Is Where They Become a Complete System.
After Human and Earth Level you can locate the points and reproduce the protocols. But the Tung system was never a point list — it was a way of reasoning about the body through Yi Jing theory. Heaven Level is where the framework closes, and where the points you already know start to explain themselves.
Protocols Without the Reasoning Behind Them
Knowing that a combination works is not the same as knowing why. Without San Cai, Ba Gua and Kai He Shu as working tools, you can only apply what you were shown — not adapt when the case in front of you doesn't match the textbook.
The Sense Organs and Internal Medicine Left Unaddressed
Eye, ear and nose presentations, along with internal medicine cases, sit outside most Acupuncturists' Tung repertoire. Heaven Level brings them in with specific protocols.
Dual Needle Technique Never Formally Taught
Dr Young's Dual Needle protocols are among the most clinically direct tools in the system, and they are rarely transmitted outside advanced training.

Our TEAS masterclass workshops balance both—theory and practice. The principles of Tung Acupuncture are taught in parallel with hands-on practical components. This ensures you get a comprehensive, well-rounded learning experience.
Hands-on Practical Work
All participants will engage in hands-on practice of Tung points, closely supervised by Dr Michael Chung and his assistants. Dr Chung will ensure each participant not only practices the techniques but also experiences being needled. This approach helps you understand the sensations associated with each Tung point — so you return to your clinic with firsthand experience and the confidence to apply what you've learned.
Lectures
Heaven Level lectures close the theoretical framework of the Tung Extraordinary Acupuncture System (TEAS) — Yin Yang, San Cai, the Eight Trigrams (Bagua), Kai He Shu (Open-Close-Pivot) and Zang Fu Bie Tong. This is the knowledge that lets you reason your way through a case rather than search for a matching protocol.
Live Demonstrations
Dr Michael Chung will provide live demonstrations in the classroom, focusing on each Tung Acupuncture point. He will guide attendees on how to precisely locate the Tung Points and the most effective needling techniques — including detailed instruction on needle angle, direction, and depth. Our skilled SustainHealth Academy crew provides high-quality visual projections so every student can comfortably observe and take notes from their seats.
Case Studies & Insightful Discussion
Case studies brought by participants are one of the most valuable parts of Heaven Level. Dr Chung can see where each student is at, draw out the key insight in every case, and give guidance the whole room learns from. Dr Chung has been teaching in TCM and Naturopathic schools in the US and Canada since 1995.
His professional knowledge of both TCM and western medicine, and his personal attributes have made him a well-known TCM Acupuncturist in both the Chinese and mainstream communities.
Dr Chung is passionate about advancing the professional education and practice of TCM. A long-time disciple of Dr Wei-Chieh Young, he teaches the Young Style Tung Extraordinary Acupuncture System internationally — and his expertise and professionalism is well-recognised by authorities in his industry.

Direct Lineage — Master Tung to Dr Young to Dr Chung
Master Tung Ching Chang 董景昌 → Dr Wei-Chieh Young 楊維傑 → Dr Michael Chung. Three generations, taught directly, one to the next.
The greatest Acupuncture master
Master Tung Ching Chang, known as the greatest Acupuncture master, was born in Shangdong, China, and later moved to Taipei, Taiwan.
Renowned for achieving remarkable results with few needles, his unique Acupuncture points and techniques often provided instant relief.
From 1953 to 1975, over 40,000 patients visited his clinic. Traditionally a family secret, Master Tung generously shared his unique Acupuncture system, breaking family tradition to benefit more patients.
He taught 73 selected students, including Dr Young, Wei-Chieh, free of charge, even providing boarding for those in need.
Heaven Level 2027 returns to Taipei — the city where that transmission took place.

Who Is This Course For?
Heaven Level is the third and final level of the Young Style Tung Extraordinary Acupuncture System. It is designed for Acupuncturists who have already built a foundation in the Tung system and are ready to complete it.
Heaven Level builds directly on the material covered in Levels 1 and 2. It is open to Acupuncturists who have completed that training with Dr Michael Chung or Dr Wei-Chieh Young, or an approved equivalent. This is something ordinarily reserved for the direct disciples of Master Tung. We are bringing you there.

Standing at the source — at the resting place of the master whose system you practise — is an experience no textbook, no recording, and no online course can offer. It is a chance to close the circle: from the lineage you have studied, to the man himself. Together, we will lift the spirit of Tung's Acupuncture.
The Grave Site of Master Tung Ching Chang
A rare and privileged visit, normally attended only by direct disciples of Master Tung. We are opening this invitation to Heaven Level attendees — the most dedicated Tung's Acupuncturists in our community.
